Confident Trump says could 'shoot somebody' and not lose voters | ReutersU.S. Republican leader Donald Trump communicated certainty on Saturday that he could push back endeavors by his opponents to thump him off his top roost, saying he could remain on New York's Fifth Avenue "and shoot some person," and still not lose voters. 


Nine days from the first choosing challenge in Iowa, be that as it may, it was Republican adversary Marco Rubio who won the support Saturday from the Des Moines Register, the state's greatest and most powerful daily paper. On the Democratic side, the Register picked Hillary Clinton. 


The supports were huge advancements for both Rubio and Clinton. Rubio, a Florida congressperson, has been running third behind Trump and Texas Senator Ted Cruz in Iowa, while Clinton has attempted to fight off a test to the Democratic assignment from Bernie Sanders.
