Russia will consider Snowden-asylum
Snowden traveled to Hong Kong in late May, before he came forward as the source of intelligence leaks in the U.S. Sunday.
On Monday afternoon, he checked out of his hotel in Hong Kong, and since no one has heard from him.
According to The Guardian , which published the first interview with Snowden, is he likely to remain in Hong Kong, but switches hotels to stay hidden.
Meanwhile, a number of people come up with suggestions about how 29-year-old should go into hiding. Snowden has received offers of help to seek asylum in Iceland , while Wikileaks founder Julian Assange thinks he should get to a Latin American country .
Now Russia has also signed up. Tuesday informed President Vladimir Putin's spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, that Snowden is welcome to apply for asylum
