Gays Should Sit in the Back Row says Poland's Walesa
Gays should sit in the back row
In a surprising outburst says Lech Walesa that those gays who are elected representatives should sit in the back row, or preferably "behind a wall."
The statement came during a talk at the Polish TV channel TVN24 when Walesa commented on questions about marriage between gays, writes News from Poland .
- I do not want this minority that I do not agree with, walking and prancing around the streets and confusing my children and grandchildren, said Walesa who was president of Poland from 1990 to 1995 and who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1983.
Walesa also believe that gays should not be allowed to hold their demonstrations in the center of the city....rather just outside or on the outskirts of cities.
He further said that he never would have voted for Anna Grodzka, Europe's only transgender elected officials when she was nominated for vice president of the Polish parliament.
- Walesa stressed that gays should be aware that they are a minority.
