Down With BLOGGERS 4 Killed in Bangladesh

Sunday marched Islamists in the streets for the third consecutive day in protest against bloggers who they accuse of blasphemy. Islamists demanded bloggers executed.

At least four protesters were killed when police began firing.

Up to 3,000 people demonstrated, including students from religious schools. 

The protesters barricaded the main road to the town Singair outside the capital Dhaka. 

- They attacked us with machetes, sticks, bricks, guns from three sides when we tried to clear the barricade. We fired back in self-defense, said Mizanur Rahman, deputy head of the police district. 

At least 15 people were injured in the clash.
