Car Bomb Iraq Kills Several
Several killed in bomb attacks in Baghdad
Many also have been injured in the attacks, writes AP.
Employees of the police and the hospitals claim that around 70 people have reportedly been injured.
According to Iraqi authorities bombs have been installed in cars, which exploded near the market place in districts Sadr, Habibiya and Qahira.
These areas are predominantly inhabited by Shia Muslims.
Increasing violence since New Year
Despite the fact that there has been less violence in Iraq since the bloody period 2006-2007, fatal attacks remain common in the country.
Over the past two months, Iraq has struggled with growing demonstrations against the regime, and violent clashes between the different ethnic groups in the country
Saturday there was a senior Iraqi intelligence man killed by a suicide bomber.
