Two Killed in Algerian ATTack on Pipeline
The two killed to be security guards who worked to guard a pipeline in the city Djebahia, 125 kilometers southeast of the capital Algiers.
The guards must have been in his camp when armed Islamists attacked late Sunday night.
According to the Algerian newspaper El Watan followed violent clashes, in which a total of seven people were injured and two killed.
Forces from the Army were sent to the area and the injured were taken to a nearby hospital.
For nearly two weeks ago, the gas system Amenas in southeast Algeria subjected to a violent terrorist attacks. 37 foreign citizens from eight countries were killed in the attack, among them several Norwegian Statoil employees.
