Joshua Milas was a member of the same club and Lanza describes as a happy person, but added that he did not appear Lanza in several years.

- We used to hang out together, and he was a good guy. He was smart. He was probably one of the smartest I've met, says Milas told The AP.

Lanza is also described as lynintelligent of former classmates. He should have directed fellow verses homework and he was among the best pupils at the school.

- He had no friends, but he was kind, if you got to know him, says Kyle Kromberg who studied Latin with Lanza.

- It was almost painful to have a conversation with him, because he felt so uncomfortable. I always wondered what he was thinking, says Olivia DeVivo who sat next to him in English lessons.

- Arguing with school staff before massacre

According to NBC Adam Lanza have been in dispute with four employees at Sandy Hook Elementary School Thursday, the day before the massacre. It is not clear what he will be arguing with the employees.

Three of the four people have reportedly been killed during the massacre on Friday, the NBC confirmed from authority sources.

Two days prior to Lanza tried to buy a rifle at a sporting goods store in Danbury, Connecticut, but did not succeed because the state operates with a waiting period before you can buy weapons.

Police said Adam was previously a student at Sandy Hook, but has in recent times had no connection to the school. His mother must have worked as a substitute at the school, but her name is not found in the school employee lists.

20-year-old took it with him two handguns and an assault rifle that was registered to his mother when he went to school at 9:30 o'clock local time Friday.
