Obama talks with Netanyahu and Mursi

President Barack Obama spoke Friday night with both Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi to calm down the conflict with Gaza.

It was Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who called Obama, according to the White House.
 Netanyahu thanked the U.S. president and the American people for their support and for helping to create the Iron Dome missile shield.
Opposite Netanyahu reiterated Obama that Israel has the right to defend himself, and he complained that the Israeli and Palestinian lives have been lost in recent days.
But the conversation was also about ways to wind down the conflict, according to the White House.

Obama called Mursi in Egypt

The conversation with Egyptian President Mohammed Mursi happened later.Obama even called Mursi.
In conversation, he praised the Egyptian president's attempt to curb the situation.
Egyptian Prime Minister Hisahm Kandil, who visited Gaza on Friday, saying that Egypt is ready to mediate in the conflict. Egypt is allied with Hamas, but also has a peace treaty with Israel
.
