Berlusconi denies relationship with Minor in Nun's Costume
Italy's former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi denies having had a sexual relationship with an underage prostitute.
- I never had an intimate relationship with her in any way, said Berlusconi in court Friday, before adding for good measure:
- I was sure she was 24 years old, as she said.
Berlusconi is accused of sexually abusing Karima el-Mahroug, better known as "Ruby Heart Thief", when she was only 17 years old.
He is also accused of abusing his power as prime minister to get her released when she was arrested for theft in May 2010.
He also is accused of abuse of power when he apparently got the police to release Mahroug, popularly called 'Ruby Heartbreak ", when she was arrested for theft.
- In my house it was just an elegant dinner, and after dinner we went a few times in the theater, said the 75-year-old politician and media mogul told reporters during a break in the trial.
Earlier this week told Fadil Imane model for women in nun costumes stripped for the former Prime Minister.
Women at the party got money to have sex with Berlusconi, according to Fadil.
Berlusconi has denied any wrongdoing, and when he was asked whether nonnekostymene, he replied:
- We played burlesque toys.
Berlusconi also had to defend himself against accusations that he tried to pay three female witnesses in the case to keep quiet. According to the newspaper Corriere della Sera Berlusconi will have paid a total of 950,000 million to the three women.
- I'll pay for these women because their lives have been ruined by this trial, said Berlusconi in court.
