Art Garfunkel disappeared in Gothenburg

Art Garfunkel is best known from the duo Simon & Garfunkel.

The world-renowned artist to perform in Gothenburg, but never showed up at the concert.

The Swedish organizers are trying to find out what has happened.

The musician who is an icon in the music industry with songs like "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and "The Sound of Silence", should act during the event Friday Night of the Proms in Gothenburg with artists like Anastacia and John Miles.

Just before Garfunkel were on the scene discovered the organizer that he was gone, writes Sydvenskan .

- We have no idea where he is. We know no more than the musicians came and stood ready to act yesterday, says organizer Julius Malmström to TT spectra.

Garfunkel would also act in Malmö on Saturday but was still gone.

Malmström Garfunkel hit Friday afternoon and was amazed.

- I drove the car with him in Gothenburg in the afternoon and then everything works normally. He seems healthy, but was not completely satisfied with your voice, said Malmström.

The American singer and poet has won seven Grammy awards and was nominated for a Golden Globe as an actor.

Sydsvenskan writes that Garfunkels musicians do not know where the singer is, and on Sunday they travel back to the U.S..

Malmström says that musicians are not directly uneasy, but they are a bit "taken by surprise".
