Dome of the reactor. Kim steps closer to nuclear weapons
New
satellite images show that North Korea has made significant progress
in the construction of an experimental light-water nuclear reactor
(ELWR), which may increase its ability to produce materials for nuclear
weapons - analysts estimate.
Pictures taken by satellite on August 6 show that the reactor was covered with a dome, with an estimated diameter of 21 meters. Dome ready for nearly a year lay on the ground next to the nascent reactor. Work on ELWR resumed after a few months break.
