Twitter: Launches the video streaming app PeriscopeThe Twitter launched a new app for video streaming, and blocked the competitive application Meerkat. H application Meerkat managed to become highly competitive, based mainly in use through Twitter. A key feature of this application is that it allows the user to save and replay the video. H announcement of Twitter for blocking the Meerkat was a few hours ago and comes the same day that the latter reveals a series of large investors in Silicon Valley. To Twitter announced as replacement Meerkat application Periscope, which allows for repetition and save the videos. In a blog post the popular media says acquired Periscope January. The Twitter had acquired in 2012 Vine.
