Lawyer Bruce Fein says he and Lon Snowden will soon visit Russia, but does not say exactly when the journey will take place.
- We have a visa. We have a date that we are going to discuss now because of all this fuss, says Fein on the television program "This Week" on TV channel ABC.
- Edward Snowden (30) has a past as a computer technician at the CIA and carried out missions for intelligence organization, the National Security Agency (NSA) via IT company Booz Allen Hamilton.
- Via international media, including the Guardian UK, U.S., The Washington Post and the website WikiLeaks, has Snowden page 5 June disclosed secret information about U.S. surveillance of domestic and international telecommunications and data traffic.
- Snowden has also published information about American espionage aimed at including the EU and China.
- Snowden left the U.S. and came to Hong Kong 20May.
- 21st June Snowden accused the U.S. of spying and asked to have him extradited.
- 23, June he traveled on to Moscow, where he spent several weeks stayed in the transit area at the international airport Sheremetyevo.
- 1 August, he left the airport after receiving a one-year temporary asylum in Russia.
