Conversation Between Al Qaeda Leaders closed Embassies
The Daily Beast reports with American intelligence sources that earlier this week, that the embassies were closed as a result of U.S. intelligence intercepted a conversationbetween Zawahri and the leader of Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), Nasser al-Wuhayshi .
The conversation revealed some of the most serious terrorist plans against U.S. interests since the attacks of 11 September 2011, according to U.S. intelligence agents and politicians.
But it did not come up was that conversation the two leading took place in a conference call between a twenty Al Qaeda leaders.
Terrorist Meeting
- This was like a meeting of the Legion of Doom, says an anonymous intelligence officer for The Daily Beast, referring to a group of comic book villains .
