Martial law in five states because of the snowstorm


Everything stopped when the entire northeastern United States Friday was hit by a blizzard Friday. Planes, cars and trains stood still, and it is declared a state of emergency in five states.

Blizzard led to major problems for motorists, trains and especially air travel. Early Saturday storm hit the central part of Connecticut. and more than 40 centimeters of snow is snowing in some places in the state.
