Many dead after tour bus-accident

The collision occurred early Sunday evening local time in a mountainous area of  Highway 38 near Forest Falls, about 130 kilometers east of Los Angeles.

A tour bus crashed with a truck and a passenger car in the dark and narrow mountain stretch. Several passengers were thrown out of the bus in the rap together, while others sat there stuck inside the drive washing.

All of the victims traveled by bus, which had a total of 38 passengers on board, according to California Highway Patrol (traffic police) to net the Los Angeles Times.

Firefighters spent more than two hours to get out all the injured from the bus. Seven ambulances reputation out to accident site. A total of 38 persons are transported to the hospital, according to news agency AP.

Among the injured are both life-threatening and easier wounded persons. Several of the injured are children.

The reason for the accident is unknown provisional. According to the TV station CBS drove one of the vehicles involved, probably the truck, driving in the wrong direction
