Threw grenade into Sunday school in Kenya - killed and injured children
One child was killed and six others seriously injured when someone threw a grenade into a church during Sunday school teaching in Kenya's capital Nairobi.
The attack confirmed by the local police told Reuters.
- There has been an attack at St. Polycarp Church in Nairobi. Someone threw a grenade into the church during Sunday school and more children are carried off injured, spokesman for the Kenyan police, Charles Owino told Reuters.
The church where the attack occurred is located in Kenya's capital Nairobi in a district with a majority of Muslim population, many of them immigrants from neighboring Somalia.
It has not yet been secure messages about who the attackers might be.
- One child has been killed and several others have been seriously injured, said another police spokesman told AFP.
